2008 Macworld Conference & Expo To Feature New Training And Educational Programs
IDG World Expo, the leading producer of world-class tradeshows and events, today announced the largest selection of in-depth training and educational opportunities ever presented at Macworld Conference and Expo. Highlights include new two-day training classes on popular Mac products such as Final Cut Studio, Aperture, Adobe Creative Suite and Filemaker; a session exploring Apple's new Mac OS X version 10.5 Leopard operating system; new MacIT sessions specifically for IT professionals deploying Apple technology; the exciting debut of "A Day At The Office: Microsoft® Office 2008"; and the enhanced Macworld Educator Academy. Macworld Conference & Expo is scheduled to take place January 14-18, 2008 at San Francisco's Moscone Center.

New conference features for 2008 include:
A Day At The Office: Microsoft Office 2008: Office 2008 for the Mac has arrived and Microsoft is releasing its highly-anticipated Universal version of Office during Macworld. Attendees of this Users Conference session will witness the grand unveiling of Office 2008 before it hits shelves.
Digital Photography Safari: The Digital Photography Safari provides participants with a unique opportunity to hone their digital photography skills, including advice on editing photographs, and learning how to organize, share and archive images and EXIF data. Attendees will also learn how to use their own equipment in real world photo shoot situations.
Macworld Educator Academy Conference: Computer Using Educators (CUE) and IDG World Expo are pleased to present the Macworld Educator Academy. Massive changes to our world requires K-12 education to respond with effective leadership and innovative classroom practices. Join expert educators as they demonstrate current applications of technology to engage students, enhance achievement and impact learning in new and powerful ways.
New Power Tools Sessions: In addition to updated classes on favorite tools such as Final Cut Studio, Creative Suite, Filemaker, Dreamweaver, AppleScript, Photoshop and DVD Studio Pro, this year's conference will feature new, two day in-depth courses on Apple's Aperture, Adobe Lightroom and Flash, Teleworking, and Mac OS X Server version 10.5 Leopard.
Hands on MacLabs: MacLabs now features an expanded curriculum offering 18 sessions of hands-on training in our state-of-the-art iMac labs. Highlights include training on Apple's iLife '08 and iWork '08 applications.
MacIT: MacIT now includes new content geared toward issues of interest to IT professionals deploying Apple technology in enterprise environments, including security, open source tool deployment, network management and integration.
