~~ Nice ~ Ice~~

The advertising using the ice fonts is pleasant. Just seeing the words made with those fonts expresses what the ad is about.

I enjoy Creative Pro newsletter even though I don't use InDesign.

Ice-chewing and icy fonts

I much enjoyed this piece, as both an ice-chewer and a veteran of the hot to cold type era. I once needed a snow/ice font, so I created drippy snow-clumps that I then placed on the type. This gave me the freedom to use a typestyle of my choosing, rather than rely on the cartoonish grotesques that are available.

Ice-chewer, cont.

Anyway, I'll post my vector snow and ice parts (that's my anonymous post above) on my blog to share with anyone who needs to frost a headline or logo.
