Correction: Animation Shop has had a preview function before version 3, built into the program (version 2). Viewing the animation in a web browser was not necessary. Also I don't regard the retaining of last settings used in an effect as annoying. It's quite useful not having to remember the settings that made an image just right in case you have to go back several undo steps and then reapply that effect later. I've never had a problem with the length of rendering unless I was working on an extremely large image, in which case I think the computer processor speed is a factor. And not enough attention was called to the multiple levels of undo that Paint Shop Pro offers. It's incredibly useful and I'm quite amazed that a high-end program such as Photoshop doesn't offer this. Photoshop (5) offers one level of undo which in my opinion is good for nothing. Hopefully Photoshop 6 has caught up with Paint Shop Pro in this regard?
