Auto-place curve point
Make sure you have the manual point insertion selected (the button on the left near the bottom of the curves palette) and not the pencil tool. The Command/Control-click for auto placing the point won't work if the pencil tool is selected.
This is excellent.
Mr. Fraser's essays on color and sharpening are very good. I like the essays on two pass sharpening.
