LM2 is it as powerful as Flash?
The article is good but it does not tell me much of the ability of LM2 to handle large, complex vector drawings (and I'm not talking at all about scripting). I personally dislike Flash because of how weird and counter-intuitive it is; on the other hand, I think that Flash is much more powerful than LM when it comes to creating sites that have lots of vectors and are created for large screens, at least when compared to version 1 of the Adobe product. In fact, my first impression of LM was that it was probably only meant to create small swf banners and such.
I'd love to upgrade but not until I hear that it can handle large, complex vector files like Flash can.
LiveMotion2
A well presented review of the latest upgrade to LM2.
The new features make the s'ware a more realistic and viable option to Flash, and enables users who so choose to focus on the 'creative' rather than the technical aspect of web animation. The features brought over from After fx make complex control, well, simple, to a great extent.
Let's hope Adobe does not abandon this product, like it did with ImageStyler.
