We at mooch.info feel that the solution is to provide selective search facilities targeting specific groups of users. Our site www.mooch.info is aimed at an affleunt, discerning, 25-45 yr old market of Europeans (US version in the pipeline. We've boiled the web down into 2,000ish great online resources which we feel enables the user to get pretty much everything they really need. The interface is built in Flash 6 and purposefully steers away from the standard search bos solution and is designed to lead people to where they want to go. It has pretty much just launched so we'd love to have any feedback the creative pro audience wants to give.
