Very helpful

I've paid photographers to shoot my jewelry. After reading this article I tried the lampshade/side lighting technique. It worked great! I'm so happy that I know where to start now and look forward to getting even better at it. Thanks again.

I would like to know which are the setting of the camera for this picture, such as the exposure time, aperture, iso, white balance selection, focal length.....ect ect. and also what type of Lens is used, General Purpose Lens 15 - 150mm or dedicated macro lens 200mm

DIY light tent

Hi, very informative, I used one of those old fashioned food covers - the tent like things covered in net - 99p for three from a local pound shop, covered it in white lining fabric and cut a small hole for my camera lense - works really well!!!!

Or you can go to ebay and buy a tent for $30 and not worry that the tent will fall apart every 2 seconds.
