I thought this article was clever and amusing. Moreover, Gene's point that nothing's really changed in terms of page composition is a good one. If it gets you to think then the article is not useless.

You show handset type in a stick and caption it "you have to learn to spell backwards"...well, you've got it backwards. The correct way to assemble type is left to right and upside down.

Another history-less article

The text is obviously not written by a person who knows about hot metal - we didn't run out of materials for leading, since we could always use cardboard, different paper stocks, including silk paper.
Strange view - too schematic - on phototype setting, since the systems were made in very different ways. Maybe he doesn't know about them either.

Yeah, hand type. I really care. What a lack of point in this article. It is indeed POINTLESS to read.
