This kind of article brings me back to my art school days (daze), where I had several very good professors who taught this kind of thing in their classrooms.
I can see from the examples that Mr. Dair was a master typographer, for even in those tiny samples, his ideas were completely clear, his thoughts totally conveyed.
20+ years in the business, and I still aspire to be as concise as Mr. Dair.
