I am a "fan" of typography and of the use of borders, where needed, to spice up an otherwise dull piece. I have created a lot of borders over the years, especially when I was a graphic artist/designer at a publisher of teacher resource materials. I used everything from dingbat fonts to combining different elements from simple art I had drawn either electronically or by hand.
The borders shown in the article blow me away, though, knowing what they had to do to achieve the look. Amazing.

Practical, helpful
As one who has often struggle with borders or frames, this article is to the point. Thanks.
Excellent Article
