Great job!

In Oz too

This is the situation in Australia too. Many job ads for designers specify print and web skills and web skills often require more than just HTML. I think there is an opportunity however for print designers to embrace web standards as the logic of the style sheet is one we are all familiar with.

Interesting Article

I sure hope you are right about more sunny days coming our way.

One thing I have noticed on a negative note is the wages many employers are willing to pay graphic designers is in the can around $10 per hour (maybe a little more). Not only that, on top of being a good graphic designer many expect coding skills like, HTML, Java, Java Script and more. I will wait and see how solid this economic turnaround will be for graphic designers. I hope the wages improve.
