The Name Game

I know, I also think the new name (Photoshop Lightroom) is not the best choice. If any of you missed the press release that announced the name change and don't know what the heck we're talking about here in the VoxBox, see the release at http://www.creativepro.com/files/story_images/news/24729.html.

available?

it's good to know this software was available but it appears the free download option expire 28 Feb 2007. Now what?

And don't they have a knack for naming software :)

What started out as "Lightroom" now is "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom" next version probably will be "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom Desktop Photo Management Suite" aka APLDPMS. Sure makes me feel like PMS when using it. ;)

Seriously, it's either Photoshop or Lightroom, not both, guys that's terrible. It implies that it's a version of Photoshop which it is not, Lightroom is actually pretty fast. Since it's merely an interface for the RAW Plug-In, naming it "Photoshop RAW Suite" if it has to have the word Photoshop in it would be borderline OK.

I can't get my Photoshop plug-ins to work in Photoshop Lightroom! Oh those sweet support calls. :)
