Great review of the XSi and I agree on all counts. I tried an XTi out and didn't like the size. The XSi is smaller and easier to handle. I struggled to figure out the Live View function until I read that there was an update to the firmware to fix a software glitch. After downloading the firmware fix, all is working perfectly.
We purchased a rebel xs for christmas that broke the very first day. Customer service has been horrible. The service center hasn't responded and the reps are some of the least helpful people. Don't buy Canon. We are learning the hard way that this is not a quality company.
