Installing Dreamweaver CS3 and CS4 cause a lot of problems. CS4 is not compatible (yet) with the Adobe Developer Toolbox which is a major drawback. Also, they seem to overwrite each other's settings. Every time, CS4 loads, it resets CS3 settings (sites, extensions, layout - everything) and vice versa.
Because of the lack of support (yet) for ADDT, the upgrade will have to wait.

I am a print designer with minimal HTML coding experience but with a lot of web implementation knowledge - in other words, I can design for web and not create nightmares but I suck at coding. I use Dreamweaver to crate quick sites for presentation purposes and other minor things that aren't worth spending money on a code jockey. The problem is that DW used to create everything in Tables, but support for Tables is fading away and moving towards DIV tags. Does CS4 make it as easy to build pages with DIV as CS3 did with Tables? This will be a major point to see if upgrading is worth the cost.
It's amazing the devotion we Graphic Artists have to Adobe, because frankly, if any other company had tried to foist something this horrific off onto users as an "upgrade", there'd be a full-own Owner Revolt. Despite owning DW CS4, I've never once used it for actual production work. This is because I don't have the time or inclination to try and guess where Adobe decided to hide all the tools. Just trying to set a Background Color for a Table is now an exercise in complete futility- I finally had to go in and just code it by hand, which seems ridiculously silly.

DIV or Tables?

software compatibility
I have Photoshop CS3 and am thinking of purchasing Dreamweaver CS4. Any compatibility issues?
CS3 Users should NOT upgrade.
