Grunge Swirl Madness

These images look like what would happen when persons could not make their way out of the oldest known maze, a maze that, when discovered by anthropologists in Ireland, was mistakenly interpreted as purely ornamental. The maze, as later research revealed, served as a test for the uninitiated: three interlocked spirals that would trap within the first spiral anyone who attempted an escape by applying rigid logic (left, right, left, right, etc.); within the first and the second spiral anyone who was systematically logical (right, left, left, right, left, left, etc.), but free the person who chose randomly at each turn. Deduce what you will from the lesson, but anthropologists believed the symbols to be the oldest known visual aid to or representation of the evolution of the human species, indeed the soul (first spiral self centric, second spiral cultural awareness, third spiral higher consciousness and escape to higher realms, etc.)
