Apple App Store Submission Guide

Adobe has opened up the world of digital publishing by creating the Digital Publishing Suite of tools that work with InDesign, and including DPS tools and services in Creative Cloud. But the process of working with a client and successfully publishing a project to the Apple App Store involves many more details and hurdles even after you’ve completed the work in InDesign.

Recently, we published a great how-to guide by DPS expert Bart Van de Wiele on how to structure a productive client briefing at the start of a project. Now Bart’s published a guide to end of the publishing process, showing how to collect all the necessary information required by Apple, in the appropriate format. And even better, he’s provided a tool for collecting that information easily. The guide is an interactive PDF that you can download for free from Bart’s website, bartvdw.com.

You simply send the PDF to the client and have them fill it all the fields and return it to you. Then, when it’s time to submit your work to the Apple App store, just copy and paste from the PDF and send to Apple.

  • Offers the same options and character limitations for easy use.
  • Has easy navigation options like bookmarks and top navigation for saving, printing, mailing or resetting the form.
