Aquent Graphics Institute and O'Reily Media Announce Publication of "Dynamic Learning: Flash CS3 Professional"

Filling a training gap on the heels of the largest software release in Adobe’s 25-year history, the Aquent Graphics Institute (AGI) has developed the Dynamic Learning series to help creative professionals and enthusiasts discover how to maximize the new and improved features of Adobe Creative Suite (CS3).
Working in collaboration with O’Reilly Media, AGI’s latest publication — "Dynamic Learning: Flash CS3 Professional" (O’Reilly, $44.99) — covers the first version of Flash released under the Adobe name and provides essential Flash CS3 Professional information and training for those creating rich web content. Written by Fred Gerantabee — product professional and certified Adobe trainer, and other members of the AGI training team (who have produced many of Adobe’s own manuals)-the comprehensive Dynamic Learning system is the equivalent of hiring your own personal Adobe expert.
"Dynamic Learning: Flash CS3 Professional" follows on the heels of the release of “Dynamic Learning: Photoshop CS3,” which has been widely praised by both educators and industry experts. In the coming months, O’Reilly will roll out additional Dynamic Learning titles, covering Dreamweaver CS3, Illustrator CS3, and InDesign CS3. Every Dynamic Learning book includes a DVD with lesson files and Digital Classroom video tutorials that demonstrate some of the techniques covered in each lesson.
The thirteen lessons in the book include clear explanations of how the software works, with full-color color examples, easy-to-follow instructions, and professional tips, along with an included DVD that includes all of the files used in the book. Self-study exercises and review questions at the end of each chapter reinforce the skills learned. In addition to the book and the DVD, O’Reilly will also be offering free, downloadable guides for educators using the books in their courses.
Fred Gerentabee and AGI’s Adobe certified trainers are providing additional in-person training in Flash CS3 Professional via a 23-city, 5-country seminar series that commences this fall. For more information about the seminars, please visit www.agitraining.com/cs3.
Flash CS3 Professional chapter topics include:

  • What’s new in Flash CS3 Professional
  • Flash CS3 jumpstart
  • Drawing tools
  • Modifying and transforming graphics

“Dynamic Learning: Flash CS3 Professional is a great way to learn Flash CS3 to create dynamic content for the Web,” explains Christopher Smith, President of AGI.  “Whether you are a designer new to Flash, or are looking to upgrade your skills to use the new features and latest version of ActionScript, this book has you covered.
