If you create short-run books using the self-publishing service Blurb, save yourself time and trouble by downloading the company’s new InDesign plug-in.
This free plug-in includes templates for all variations of Blurb books: different sizes, different inside paper stock, and different covers. If you try to choose a combination of variables that’s outside of Blurb’s production capabilities– too many pages, for example–the plug-in will warn you.
The plug-in also includes an export preset that ensures the PDF file you upload to Blurb is properly configured.
The template creator plug-in is available for both Mac and Windows in versions for CS3, CS4, and CS5/5.5
