Visitors to Corbis' website (www.corbis.com) will now see a cleaner, simplified homepage. This friendlier website was designed by creative professionals with creative needs in mind. The new design will make finding Corbis images and services quicker and easier.
"We have been actively listening to our customers to better gauge their current and future needs. The new site design incorporates their feedback," said Mike Dusche, Corbis' vice president of customer experience. "These changes are the first in a series of steps we are taking to revolutionize our customers' online experience."
In addition to a streamlined look and feel the website redesign improves search functionality of Corbis' royalty-free collections. rf SHOP, Corbis' royalty free website, now shows a better breadth and depth of Corbis' royalty-free collection, as well as showcasing the work of key content partners. The rf SHOP site also highlights key image segments such as business, lifestyle, travel, nature & wildlife, sports and home & beauty with links to editor selects of the newest imagery.
"Showcasing key image segments with editor selects is one of the most efficient ways to organize and search royalty-free images," said Jim Pickerell, president and founder, Selling Stock. "Corbis' improvements to its rf SHOP site make it easy for clients to get exactly what they want, and better merchandise the full range of Corbis' royalty-free imagery."
Upgrades to the Corbis website and rf SHOP took place on May 5th. rf SHOP can be found at www.corbis.com/rf
