Correct Images Inside InDesign
Elpical, the imaging development company whose image analysis technology is used by some of the largest, high volume production printers in the world, launched a free beta version of its Claro Layout plugin for Adobe InDesign. Elpical products are available in the Americas from Tools4Media.
Claro Layout automatically manages quality analysis and enhancement of pictures. Print, design and publishing professionals don’t need to leave InDesign while the Claro Layout plug-in individually analyzes and enhances each image inside the InDesign file.
InDesign guru David Blatner (co-author of Real World InDesign and the co-host of indesignsecrets.com), is looking forward to testing Elpical Claro Layout, noting that InDesign users have long wanted more automated and advanced image correction and enhancement.
“Studies show that InDesign users are most efficient when they can stay inside their main program. If Claro Layout lets us do high-quality global image correction without having to launch Photoshop, you’ll have a lot of happy InDesign users out there,” Blatner says.
Those interested in participating in the public beta testing phase for Elpical Claro Layout should contact: sa***@*********ia.com or +1 240 888 4880 in the Americas; and in**@*****al.com or +31 (0) 313 633 156 in Europe and rest of world.
