According to its website, the Noun Project "collects, organizes and adds to the highly recognizable symbols that form the world's visual language, so we may share them in a fun and meaningful way."

The symbols that make up the Noun Project are divided into 11 categories:

Weather & Nature

Here are just a few of the many, many symbols already in the Noutn Project:

You can download any of the symbols for free. However,
do check licensing requirements when downloading an image. Some are protected by copyright; others are not.
