Filter Forge, Inc., has released the Mac OS X version of Filter Forge Freepack 1 - Metals, the first in the series of free Photoshop plug-ins, and announced the expiration date of the 30% discount on all editions of Filter Forge.

The freepacks are free thematic Photoshop plug-ins based on the technology used in the company's flagship product, Filter Forge, an innovative plug-in allowing users to create their own filters -- visual effects, distortions, patterns, backgrounds, frames and more.
