Major Update to Batch Image and Photo Editor

Dare to be Creative Ltd. announced the release of ResizeMe 2, a batch image and photo editor for Mac OS X Leopard. The new version extends ResizeMe’s image operations to drop shadows, reflections, text watermarks and image format conversions. The new version also offers a completely new user interface featuring a live preview window for users to see all edits before they commit them.
Drop Shadows and Reflections:
With ResizeMe 2, web designers and graphic artists can easily polish thousands of images at once with the popular drop shadow and reflection effects. For drop shadows, users can customize the shadow color, rotation, offset, blur and opacity. For reflections, users can choose the opacity and height of the reflection.
Text Watermarks:
Watermarking images and photos is a common task, for example to add a copyright notice to a series of photos, or to stamp a set of images with a “DRAFT” banner. With ResizeMe 2 users can add text watermarks to many images and photos in one scoop, and can control the look of the watermark by setting the position, font, color, rotation and opacity of the text.
Convert Image Formats:
Another popular image operation new in ResizeMe 2 is the conversion between image formats. ResizeMe supports the most common image and photo formats on Mac OS X, including JPEG, PNG, TIFF and PDF. For JPEG images and photos users can set the output quality to reduce image file size.
Live Previews:
ResizeMe 2 also offers a completely overhauled user interface, with the most important new feature being a live preview window. This allows users to see all edits and fine-tune them if necessary before committing them.
Minimum Requirements:
* Mac OS X Version 10.5 or higher
* Universal Binary for PowerPC and Intel
Pricing and Availability:
ResizeMe is $30 (USD), and available as a free download from the
ResizeMe website.
It runs initially in a 15-day trial mode with all features active. This update is free to all registered users of ResizeMe 1.
