Master the Creative Suite with CS Magic's Online Seminars

Press release
A new nationwide training company has been launched, called CS Magic. The company’s tagline, “Mastering the Magic of the Adobe Creative Suite,” describes their purpose. The company has initially created a series of nine online webi-nars covering many of the Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium products. The first webinar is a presentation on “Adding Sizzle to Your PDF Presentation,” offered by Steve Werner on Tuesday, November 24 at 9am Pacific. You can check out their new website at www.cs-magic.com to sign up for a webinar.
The company is the creation of Mark Atchley and Steve Werner, who formerly produced online seminars for Adobe Systems for over three years. They and their other faculty members, Claudia McCue and James Lockman, are all Adobe Certified Experts and Adobe Certified Instructors.
CS Magic was created to meet the need for more targeted online classes. “In the past year the work place has be-come more competitive and workers need to keep up with their training,” said Mark Atchley. “This means job seekers and employees are turning to online courses for learning about current technology and to advance their skill sets. Now, and as the economy turns around, they will then be better prepared. We’re in a new environment with limited funds, less time to take off work for classes, and an ever-increasing pressure to produce more in less time. Today the cost effective solution to learning software is online training.”
The CS Magic webinars will use Adobe Connect Pro soft-ware to deliver its online training. “This can create a more personal and interactive environment for learning because of the interaction with a trainer via voice and chat. The trainer shares their computer screen to teach the class, the students can have their questions answered. They can get training tailored to their personal needs,” Steve Werner said. “Using Adobe Connect Pro software means that all a student needs is their web browser to attend a class.”
James Lockman is presenting “Collaborative Editorial Workflows with InDesign and InCopy on Thursday, Decem-ber 3. Claudia McCue is offering “Creating Perfect Masks for Difficult Subjects in Photoshop” on Thursday, January 7. Other offerings are listed on the website.
In addition to the initial offering of webinars, www.cs-magic.com contains a list of other custom designed training topics that can be developed by the faculty, as well as free step-by-step tutorials on using Adobe Creative Suite products.
