Responding to our clients’ votes in the Mag03 contest, the new Limited Edition Masterfile magazine is called Mysteries. Taking inspiration from Oscar Wilde (the true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible), it’s a 32-page, full-colour booklet, with a selection of baroque, otherworldly images from the Masterfile collection.
In Mysteries you’ll shiver at the sight of Russell Monk’s accordion-playing ghoul, avoid eye contact with Derek Shapton’s eerily staring figure and gaze up at David Mendelsohn’s juggler on stilts, which is surely enough to conjure circus nightmares from anyone’s childhood.
They’re all extraordinary images, a reminder of the creative possibilities available at masterfile.com.
Further the booklet includes helpful website search tips and other information about the services offered by Masterfile. A smaller Standard Edition of File 1.08 will be released simultaneously. This 8 page condensed version will evoke the same mood as the Limited Edition.
The magazine, this time created in-house by Masterfile’s European design department, has changed in size and format to combine the European and North American versions and uses a phantasmical fluorescent yellow spot colour. Both versions will be distributed to Masterfile clients in June. An interactive version of File 1.08 is available online at masterfile.com/mysteries.
