Meta Editor 3.0 Adds New Tools for Photo Pros with iPad
Software developer Cyril Godefroy designed and developed Meta Editor as a tool for serious photographers who are away from their main computers but want to do some work on their images. The new version 3.0 of the app, which runs on Aple's iPad (iOS 4.2 and later), costs $14.99.
Once you import images, you can use Meta Editor to sort photos into an unlimited number of albums. You can search all imported images by name, tag, and title. You can also edit all IPTC files, either one at a time or in batches.
When you've finished organizing and editing, you can share a photo or multiple albums via the iPad's email; export to FTP servers and flickr; and save to iTunes.
Developer Godefroy says that version 3.0 is faster, as well.
