Teehan+Lax, creators of the free iPad GUI PSD, have released the free vector-based iPad Sketch Elements AIfor app designers who prefer Illustrator to Photoshop for comps.

In a blog post, Chris Tanner notes that Teehan+Lax used "sketch-like style" for the vector version of the collection of common iPad elements, so that designers (and clients) aren't locked into a wireframe that's a little too high-fidelity.
