New features for Photoshop, Creative Cloud, and Muse

During today’s Create Now event, Adobe made five major announcements about new features in Photoshop, Muse, and Creative Cloud.

1. New Photoshop features

The new Photoshop Features are as follows:

Smart Object support for Blur Gallery and Liquify
Conditional Actions
New workfow timesavers

HiDPI and Retina display support (also applies to Illustrator)
CSS support
Support for larger JPEGs
Default type styles

Improved 3D effects
Image-based lighting enhancements
Enhanced details for textures with normal map generation

2. Adobe Muse Updates

The WYSIWYG website creation tool Muse has been updated with features for creating mobile versions of websites for tablets and smartphones.

3. Creative Cloud Connection

The functionality of the Creative Cloud has been enhanced with features to sync files and share them across teams. A desktop app called the Creative Cloud Connection allows users to drag and drop files to folders to sync them to the cloud. Users can choose to share files or folders with individuals or groups of people.

4. Training Resources

Multi-lingual video training resources will also be available to Creative Cloud subscribers.

5. Creative Cloud For Teams

Also announced was Creative Cloud for Teams, which will be priced at $69.99 per month or $49.99 per month for CS3+ customers.
