Online Auction to Benefit Design Author, Trainer

Designer and author Scott Citron was in a serious car accident in Los Angeles in late July 2008. His long-term prognosis is good, but the road to full recovery will be a long one.
This auction — which now closes on Monday, September 24 — consists of prizes donated generously by many companies and individuals eager to help. All proceeds from the auction go directly to help Scott and his family shoulder the burden of extended hospital stays, accommodations in L.A., and what will likely be the loss of many months of income.

How to Bid
Each item will be posted as a separate entry, and bids will be made by leaving a bid in the comments field.
The items will have a starting bid amount and a bid increment amount. The first person leaving a comment will enter the starting bid amount. The next person MUST enter an amount at least as much as the previous bid plus the increment amount (you may bid higher if you want). You may leave other info in the comments field if you wish.
You must leave a valid e-mail address when you leave your comment, as this is how you will be notified of any items you have won. The first time you leave a bid/comment you will have to wait for your comment to be approved by the site moderator. After that first one is approved, and if you comment with the same e-mail address, your comments will be posted immediately. All bids will be approved in the order they were submitted, so don’t stress if your bid isn’t showing up while waiting for approval.
Auction Duration
We will be closing the auction on SEPTEMBER 15, 2008; 5:00 P.M. EASTERN. At that time, the person with the last (and highest) bid will be notified by e-mail that they are the high bidder. IMPORTANT: You will have 48 hours to respond to the winning e-mail. If you don’t respond in that timeframe, the item will go to the next highest bidder on the list.
If you have any questions, please e-mail the site admin at [email protected].
