Photographers, Learn How to Build a WordPress Website

Do you want to get your photographic portfolio online but aren’t sure how? From November 29 through December 1, CreativeLive is offering the webinar WordPress for Photographers. As is usual for this training company, you can attend the online workshop as it happens without paying a cent. (If you want to review the videotaped course afterward, you can do so for $79.)
Designer and software trainer Justin Seeley will lead the three-day course, which will introduce attendees to the popular WordPress content management system. Seeley will tailor the course to the needs of photographers by covering topics such as how to manage photos in WordPress and where to find WordPress templates that are best-suited for photographers.
By the end of the course, you’ll have the knowledge necessary to get your site online, customize the template to suit your practical needs and your aesthetic (even if you’re not an HTML jockey), and maintain the site.
The course begins at 9 a.m. Pacific on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. If it sounds like it would work for you, click here to register for “WordPress for Photographers”.
