Print Production & Design Advice for Specialty Finishing Processes
PaperSpecs is presenting another free webinar. Called “Mixing It Up: How to Combine Specialty Finishing Processes,” the webinar will be led by Sheila Donnelly of Precise Continental, a print shop that focuses on engraving, offset, and specialty processes.
When your designs are meant to appeal to a high-end customer who’s jaded by the everyday — and when the budget is big enough — you should consider specialty finishes like foil stamping, embossing, and engraving. These finishes can move invitations, identity systems, brochures, and many other print products into another realm.
However, specialty finishes call for special handling, especially when you’re using more than one of them on the same piece. In the webinar, you’ll learn which finishes are appropriate for certain projects, how (or whether) to combine them, and how to plan so that the end result justifies your time and the client’s money.
“Mixing It Up: How to Combine Specialty Finishing Processes” will take place on?October 27, 2011, from 2 to 3 p.m. Eastern time.
