When Adobe decided what should go into the recently released Photoshop CS5, it removed some plug-ins and presets that were present in earlier versions.

If you're a fan of one or more of those missing features, don't fret: You can have your new software and eat it, too, because Adobe has posted the MIA features online as free downloads.

You can download the following:
- Picture Package (ContactSheetII)
- Extract (Windows only*)
- Pattern Maker
- Photomerge UI (for interactive panorama creation)
- Web Photo Gallery (WebContactSheetII) plus presets
- Script for Layer Comps to Web Photo Gallery
- Texture presets for Texturizer
- TWAIN
- DisableGetInfoComment (Mac only)
- DisableScratchCompress (Mac only)
- DisableVMBuffering (Mac only)
- Force VM Compression (Mac only)
- Force VM Buffering (Mac only)
- RememberSlowFiles (Mac only)
- Unlimited Clipboard Size (Mac only)
- Unlimited Preview Size (Mac only)
- HSBHSL
- Overscroll Always (Mac only)
- Overscroll Floating Windows (Mac only)
- DisableDragBoundingBox (Mac only)

* Cocoa-related changes made it impossible for Extract to run on OS X in CS5.

Not good for Windows

Tried to download those "old" plug ins from Adobe. According to their Tech Support person they are only for MAC, not Windows.

Dang it

Extract was one of my most used filters (aside the normal blurs and sharpeners) and now it is gone!
