StockPhotographer.info, a New Information Portal for the Stock Photography Industry

StockPhotographer.info (https://www.StockPhotographer.info) has just launched a new, innovative Internet portal dedicated to the stock imagery community.
StockPhotographer.info has been developed to provide the latest and most comprehensive information, news and other resources available to everyone involved in the stock industry today.
In the past few years, the stock photography industry as a whole has experienced tremendous change and upheaval. The rate at which these changes are occurring will only increase due to advancements in technology and information systems.
One of the major roadblocks to anyone just coming into the industry as well as experienced professionals trying to keep up with all of the changes occurring within the stock imagery community is that the current information overload will only continue to increase. At best this has created a frustrating search for information and at worst, made it impossible to assimilate and utilize all of this disjointed data. This fragmentation of information touches every segment of the industry. Photographers, researchers, agencies and distributors are all equally effected.
Over a year ago Theodoros Papageorgiou, a professional web developer and photographer saw the need for an information portal dedicated to the stock imagery industry that would consolidate information, news, products and services into a single, easy to use portal. In December of 2005, Jim Hunter joined with Theodoros and work of actually creating the web site and developing the content for StockPhotographer.info was begun. Then in early January of this year, Frederic Sune joined the team to assist in establishing and organizing the initial content.
Our objective at StockPhotographer.info is to provide a more efficient means of collecting, filtering, organizing and disseminating as much as possible of the available information into a more manageable structure that will easily fit the specific needs and interests of each individual involved in the stock imagery industry. We believe that StockPhotographer.info will become an essential gateway for anyone seeking information, news and resources, related to the stock imagery industry. Whether you are an experienced pro, agency owner, researcher or you are just beginning to explore the possibilities of stock photography, you will find StockPhotographer.info to be an invaluable resource.
