Edward Mendelson

Edward Mendelson has been writing about computers and typography since 1985 and has been a contributed editor at PC Magazine since 1988. He wrote a monthly column on type for Windows Sources, and has written about the visual arts for Art News, the London Review of Books, and the (London) Times Literary Supplement. He spends hours poring over specimen books of hot-metal typefaces and is a professor of English at Columbia University.
