I vividly remember seeing an exhibit of Andreas Gursky's photos at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art. His prints were enormous, often more than 10 feet wide, giving the photos impressive scale and detail. Excited to relive the museum experience, I bought a coffee table book of his work. Unfortunately, at the smaller print size, the photos were lifeless and fuzzy.
