Create spot color PDF with embedded Photoshop duotone.
Written by Geri Bourget on June 5, 2010
I have a duotone that I created in Photoshop (CS2) and placed into a template created in Illustrator (CS2). The placed photoshop file is on its own layer, while the template is on another layer. I need to send this file to my printer as a PDF, but when I "save as" a pdf, the photoshop file converts to CMYK. The template stays as a PMS. What do I need to do to keep the 2 spot colors of my duotone?
