I really enjoyed this article James. If you don't mind I would like to borrow your title for an exercise with my own graphic design students. Over the years I have also been collecting my own version of the vernacular style and personal expression. India and South East Asia is a wonderful place for adding to your own personal collection. Havana is not bad as well.
