I think your article is a little too negative in regard to OS-X. It takes a little more preparation to "play it safe" with X (creating a separate partition, mainly, which is smart but not absolutely necessary), but the install process is astonishingly easy, and the whole ordeal takes only about an hour, including the creation of a new partition.

I agree completely with the author. An important stage in the design process that seems to have been omitted in Palm Beach is the testing stage. If they had made the effort to test the ballot before putting it into service, this flaw may have surfaced.

...to see an article with this slant on a site like creativepro.com. Although I'm also increasingly offended by the commercialization of the internet, the Napster issue is something else altogether. I think anyone who approaches this issue objectively can see that it clearly violates copyright laws, and those laws are vital to the livelihood of most creativepro readers.
