Frames useful for positioning.

While I do agree somewhat with one of the disagreeing responders, overall I felt this was a useful discussion. Search engines do get confused by frames, but it does not prevent the site from being listed. Many people seem to like having an entire page reload on every link, rather than having only part of the content change. This is like turning a page of a book.

Large monitors not really used at maximum resolution.

I have to disagree somewhat with the idea that most people have 15" monitors. There are a large number of laptop users that have 10", 12" or 14" monitors. I have also seen many people with 15" and 17" desktop monitors that set them to 800 by 600, instead of 1024 by 768. Most of these will have thousands, or millions of colours, but most people are still on 56 kpbs modems.

Highly important information for print designers

This article effectively explains visual colour perception within PhotoShop. It is nice to see that someone else has validated my preference settings and confirmed what I believed to be correct. Adobe should really document this information better than it currently presents to PhotoShop users. Thanks for a well presented article
