The United identity had much more impact and recognition than the bland-yet-busy mark of Continental.
The problem with defaults . . .

is that they only apply to NEW documents that are created after the default was changed. This might be fine for some. But in publishing, most documents are created from templates, so the defaults have no impact on them. There really needs to be a way to make InDesign apply defaults (with confirmation, of course) to every document that is opened after the defaults are changed.

House has offered these fonts for a great price. The only problem is that, given their license agreement's terms, you won't be able to create anything with it that you intend for anyone to look at unless they also purchase a license.

Reading this advisory sure leaves me with the impression that Adobe does not intend to issue a patch to fix this. I understand they have a standing policy against fixing bugs in previous-version applications, but a security risk?
