Wonderful

Another great addition to your column Gene. I will miss Terri's input too, and wish her the best in her new edeavor. I look forward to at least 9 more years of your Scanning Around With Gene columns, though, one of my favorite things about CreativePro.

Sweet!

Sounds like a great compact camera. It's bit pricey, but you are getting quality from the sounds of it. It is one I'd add to my camera bag if the opportunity presented itself. I'm a sucker for the classic compact look.

Not Bad

One the whole, I like it. Less busy and easier to differentiate the style of M&C. The "smiling" noodle is a great idea. I find the blue gradient a bit much though. It makes the noodles "pop", but overpowers them and cools off what is supposed to be a warm and inviting comfort food.

Nice work

Impressive re-design of the BS logo. Much more cohesive. The re-designs in the rest of the article were well done also.

What about hearts, musical notes, etc.?

Good and Bad in Both

I like the classic look of the old, especially the fonts, logo circle and more rendered ingredients barrel. The new can comes up looking plainer and more generic. I do like the bubble effect and neatened up elements of the new can though.

Enjoyed

A poignant, if a little depressing article Gene. But I enjoyed it, as always, thanks!

Worthy Compact

Sounds like a nice compact, looking forward to some photo samples and pricing.

While the originals may not be perfect, they're a darned sight better than the redesigns. NASA's feels incomplete (though I appreciate the concept) and SB's looks downright generic.

Thanks Terri.

Dreamweaver CS4?

Any word on whether it will work with CS4?

Some great freebies this week. Things I never even knew I needed (ie. Mozilla Prizm), but now I do. Thanks!

Great stuff thanks!

I especially like the DIY handwritten font. It'll make holiday newsletters a little more personal this year! ;'] More of everything please! BTW, a great source for FREE stock images is http://www.sxc.hu/ ~Kort

I've seen so many composites where the elements just don't match up, or seem real. This tutorial emphasizes the goal of realism...making the element mesh. Excellent job!

Is there a URL link?

I'm not seeing a URL for this event. Can one please be posted? Thanks.

Great idea for a monthly column and great stuff in this first one. Looking forward to more!

New name

You mentioned 3 major product lines. So why not move away from the old names and come up with something new that shows that. VidWebDesign, or some such moniker. :) --Kort Kramer

Digital Photo Workflow

I'm on a Mac and have been quite happy with iPhoto as a means of keeping my library of digital photos organized. While it is true that many photos have never been printed, I feel I've saved time and money by controlling what I print.
