It's a 50/50 thing

Before the photographers started getting the shaft, we designers were (being shafted) by everyone and their "executive assistants" who were handed the dreaded microsoft publisher and told to create something pretty. I miss the days of commissioning photographs (and illustrations) for every job that I worked on, or buying from Tony Stone Images, when I can, I do.
