Pepsi Logo

Comment by bruceeverett on March 3, 2009

Actually there was nothing wrong with the past logo. Can you imagine if they did to IMB, UPS, FORD, GE, what they did to Pepsi. The past logo was timeless. Some Branding/ Marketing guy came up with some BullS#$% statistics and sold it to Pepsi. I am speaking from a successful 30 year career in design and advertising.

Tell your clients where to go!

Comment by bruceeverett on March 26, 2008

When you have a (#*$^*^) client that wants to make unecessary changes because of his wife or sisters kid tell them goodby and it was a good businesslesson working with them. The send them to http://99designs.com/ The client can get logos and art real cheap. They are not worth your time neither is 99designs.com. If you want to submit your designs against 27 other designers for peanuts go there.

All of you that have posted

Yes, I have been around this field for forty decades. I have worked for so many firms and clients I have lost count. You either have to put up with (*#^$^%) like this from clients or you have to have the GUTS to use the word NO! Are you a professional or a mouse!

AGL5 - Doesn't do Layers

Comment by bruceeverett on February 10, 2001

I have used Dreamweaver before and our company wanted to start using AGL5, just because it came with PS6. (as good a reason as any, I guess) If you overlap layers or you don't you will have printing problems. Like Text on one page and images on another. Yes really Folks, sometimes people want a print out of a web page. I am not the only one that has had this problems.
