WDYDWYD?
When PrintingForLess.com president and CEO Andrew Field sent me a link to a Web site a few weeks ago, he probably didn't intend that I spend hours clicking through the site's archives. That site, wdydwyd.com, is made up of many people's answers to one simple question: "Why do you do what you do?"
Anyone can post an answer in the form of text combined with images (still or moving). Founder Tony Deifell calls the results a "worldwide community-art project." While some of the answering images may be pedestrian, others are undoubtedly artful, like this submission from Howie Alex:
Check out the site and its accompanying Flickr and Facebook presences. But you may want to wait until you have a few hours to spend there.
Terri Stone - Editor in Chief
P.S. It was also a few weeks ago that I told you about Ron and Joe's "Many Parts of Me" t-shirts and mousepads. If you've ordered one, send me a picture!

Scanning Around with Gene: Makin' Pages With Bruce
Technology changes. Music changes. But for more than 35 years, Bruce Springsteen and Helvetica have been Gene Gable's constant spirits in the night.
Related Reading: Because of Gene's documented fondness for the Ramones, I didn't expect him to be a Bruce fan, as well.
