Editor's Corner: On the Logo Lookout
Michaels is a chain of stores that sell materials for arts and crafts. Some of the merchandise can seem a little old-fashioned, and until recently, the logo was also dated -- it would have been at home in a sedate ad from the 1970s.
The new logo reminds me of the signature of a perky, popular young woman. Not my style, but not a bad image to project, considering the company's market.
