Get a Free Font from... Toyota?!
In Belgium, Toyota has a new car called the iQ that's small and nimble. It's perfect for parking in crowded urban centers -- and, as it turns, perfect for drawing a typeface.

Recently, Toyota hired the studio pleaseletmedesign to create a typeface. Then a pro racecar driver got behind the wheel of the Toyota iQ and approximated the glyphs in a large hangar while being filmed by overhead cameras. The filmed motion was translated into the font's glyphs. And now that font is a free download and the subject of an online video.

Lots of companies create something unusual and hope it will go viral. Very little does. This campaign deserves to.
