You may have already seen a digital magazine. Most are ported from print, although some (like our sister publication, InDesign Magazine) live only in the digital realm. While they can and do have some interactivity, reading these digital magazines isn't far removed from reading print magazines.

But in the last month, videos have circulated that show a wildly different "magazine" experience, with sound, video, and social media components as key players and, most radically, with the ability for readers to completely reconfigure a publication's content. Although they're still in the concept stage, these publications present intriguing opportunities for readers and, of course, for designers.
