Art/Toy/Gift/Ornament/Decoration/Whatever
The DIY/handcrafting movement is so large that I can't really call it a singular movement. It has many nooks and crannies, and one of those that's easy for everyone to try is paper crafting.

Talented artists from all over the world design free, downloadable templates like these:

You simply print, cut, and fold.

You can start your paper-craft explorations at these sites:

3EyedBear
CubeeCraft
Grumm
Macula
PaperCraftx
Paper Modelz

Do you know of other paper-craft sources, or have you created a template you want to share? Post them at www.creativepro.com.

Scanning Around with Gene: The Waiting is the Hardest Part
Gene Gable spent the better part of last week in a hospital waiting room. Although his choice of imagery was limited, he still managed to come up with another column full of eye candy that's much tastier than hospital food.
