    Battle for Type Supremacy

When James Vecchio took a job as a coder, he felt the need for creative outlets outside of work. And so he began the Font-Bot Project. This quirky new website displays two robots at a time and invites site visitors to vote on which of the two creatures should win the battle. But here's the part I really like: The robots are made out of type.

Garbage Can, the robot in the red circle, is composed of glyphs from the Franklin Gothic family. The fearsomely named Mandible (in the blue circle) uses Caliban, Verve, Braggadocio, Zebrawood, and Discoid. Which do you think should win? Vote here.

You can also enter your own Font Bot. Check out the rules of engagement here.
