Printing, PDFs, and CreativePro.com
Lately, I've been seeing more frequent comments on CreativePro.com asking for the ability to either print the articles or save them as PDFs. Your wish is my command -- in fact, those abilities have always been around.

To print an article, look for the Print icon at the bottom of every article and blog post. (That's also the area to head for when you want to email an article to someone.)

On the Mac, pushing that print button is also your first step to making a PDF of an article/blog post. The Print dialog that comes up (see below) has options for easily creating a PDF. You can also create a Preview document, which serves the same purpose if your intent is merely to save a copy as reference material.

If you use Windows and don't already have a PDF printer driver installed, you may have to invest a little up-front time by downloading and installing one of the free PDF printer drivers. Though I can't recommend it personally, I've heard good things about doPDF.

Are there other capabilities you wish we had, or aren't sure we have? Write me at tstone@creativepro.com and I'll see what I can do!

Reader mrbishi suggested the site "Where are you in the movie?" You plug in your birth date and life expectancy, choose a movie title, then see how far along in that movie you are. In the movie of my life, the Wicked Witch just jumped on her broom and flew out of her tower dungeon.
